Good Scientific Practice in Studies

The study program should give you all the information regarding good scientific practice and thus the "craft" of the respective discipline. Knowledge and skills for good research are practiced over the entire course of study and explicitly taught, for example, in introductory courses or special seminars and tutorials. Additionally, it's important for students of all disciplines to get skills in literature research, in processing and writing texts, and - in advanced studies - in publishing texts. KIT encourages you to look beyond your own subject area to gain new perspectives on your work.

The following KIT facilities can help you to build up and expand your knowledge and skills in scientific work:

On the KIT website you can find a comprehensive list of Advice and Help in Studies.

If you have any questions or comments about teaching good scientific practice in your course of study, the Dean of Studies or your student councils are the right people to contact.
